If You're Into Classic, Collector And Vintage Cars You May Want To Start Hoarding Parts

When First Brands, the owner of some of the biggest names in aftermarket and replacement auto parts declared chapter 11 bankruptcy last summer, we didn’t think much of it. But now that has become chapter 7, which means liquidation and the point of no return.
What this means is that some of the legacy brands that we rely on for affordable, readily available parts to keep our old rides on the road no longer exist, and once the existing warehouse inventory dries up, it’s gone for good.
Is it just a coincidence that this is happening at the exact time that the general public is beginning to look at keeping their older vehicles running rather than buying the overpriced, over teched, trouble prone machines being offered by the manufacturers today?
