Started electronic circuit design in the 80s. A 555 timer could use the analog sending unit’s variable resistance to control a frequency generator (digital). Add to the output of the sending unit, and sending unit be replaced with another analog one in the future without mods. You need to know the frequencies of full and empty to setup the 555.

Jay Leno 3d prints a lot of stuff. I try not to buy European cars. Just so happens i have an old mercedes. it has abs light on cruise doesn’t work need an oil change. not my daily driver. i am sure my bill will be well over a grand to fix these issues. Got it for the vario top which i have had to have repaired. It is our toy. 300 slk. Cheaper to maintain than the 3 harley davidsons i had.
