Shocks and struts look pretty similar and they are both considered “shock absorbers”, so what’s the difference? And at what point can you call it a coilover? Not very well explained, at least for a car noob like me. With the exception of the red one, they all look structurally the same, and I still don’t understand the differences.
This is arguably one of the worst explanations of differences I’ve ever heard. This isn’t presented in a logical manner and you repeatedly contradicted yourself and introduced useless information. I would recommend taking this video down, writing a quick script, reshoot and then reupload. This is horrible.

My 2016 TRD off road needs struts and shocks at 80k milessays my mechanic. I do moderate offroading going camping and fishing in colorado. What do you suggest going with that would support the moderate offroading that is slightly more budgetary? Im open to bilsteins but also want to know if something less could do the job to prevent top roll, back bounce, and offer more control
