  1. I have a 2021 Jeep Compass Limited. I do a lot of city driving 1) for work and back home and 2) I do pet sitting on the side so it’s a lot of braking. I do have a lead foot and I like to get where I’m going quick. Over the last snow/ice storm we had here in Lexington, KY, I had to hit my brakes hard. Now they are warped causing severe vibration – through to the steering wheel. I need good brakes that are not going to warp the first time I have to slam on brakes for something. I need something durable. (Brake pads and rotors). Suggestions?

  2. Great tutorial. I’m one of the guys who held hot brakes engaged while waiting on a light on an incline. If this surging, with associated steering wheel shake, can I go through the bedding procedure again and reduce or eliminate that? Is there an alternative fix other than replacing rotors and pads? The vehicle in question is a C6, ZO6, LS7 with OEM rotors and EBC Red Stuff pads. Please let me and others know! Thank you!
