This was quite the inconvenience. A few months back we were approached about making the switch to Napa Gold filters from our Wix Gold. There were some perks with the switch and it made sense to us since we assumed they were the same product. Well, one thing you should know in this industry is to never assume. So we will address why we had to make the switch straight back to the Wix Gold. Hopefully it helps you make some much needed decisions on what you have in your shop or use on your vehicle. Enjoy!

Wait what’s the difference between that style of filter and the canister filter?
Either wix. Wix xp. Or k&n. I’ve had great success with all 3 I refuse to run anything else
This is wrong Napa Gold has a real spring in it not a leaf spring what you showed didnt even look correct Premium Guard makes Napa Gold now they have real spring if you see this video maybe you should buy one cut it open for yourself
Wow, this is super interesting to me. I didn’t even know that Napa used to be a Wix filter. I learn something new every single time i watch your videos. Thanks for that info and I’ll keep that in mind the next time i change my oil myself here soon. Great job guys!!
I’ve been using NAPA Gold for many years with zero issues. Change oil and change it often. Best insurance you can ever do for your car.
