These days it seems you can just skip the headunit and Bluetooth into the dsp and use the phone as a headunit. Not sure how well it works but this is my future setup this spring. Literally a power wire for the amps, the gain knob wire and maybe a 12v switched wire if the dsp doesn’t have signal sense. Then I can make a clean carpeted wood sheet to mount all the goodies. Looks good in my head.
I am just going with aftermarket everything except a sub. I have a feeling putting a sub in my Kia Optima is just going to introduce a whole world of rattle.
